A selection of Chinese and Japanese porcelain, pottery and stoneware figures from the 1st millennium to the present day. Please note that early pieces are very difficult to date for certainty. (Items may be dated to within 200 years by thermoluminescent (TL) testing, but this is not always conclusive) Also the demand for antiquities has encouraged the trade in fakes. (I try to give my honest opinion in all cases). |
